Smart Poultry Farming Using AI, IoT and edge computing in Ladakh
Project Description
The Smart Poultry Farming System leverages AI, IoT, and edge computing to improve poultry production and management in the unique cold and arid conditions of Ladakh. Traditional poultry farming in this high-altitude region faces challenges such as extreme temperatures, limited resources, and higher risks of disease outbreaks. This system employs IoT sensors to monitor parameters like temperature, humidity, feed, water levels, and bird health in real time, while AI algorithms analyze the data to optimize growth, predict disease risks, and ensure animal welfare. Edge computing enables quick on-site decision-making even in areas with limited internet connectivity, making the system practical for remote villages. By enhancing productivity, reducing losses, and ensuring sustainability, this solution provides a smart, resilient, and scalable model for poultry farming in Ladakh.
